Anthony formed Allenbridge in 1984 to provide independent performance analysis, conflict free research and unbiased advice to clients. Prior to forming Allenbridge, Anthony was a former equity analyst and managed several smaller pension funds' assets and started his career in the family's commodity trading business - in the City of London in 1966. He is non-executive director of Anglo-Pacific Plc and serves on the boards of several charities and non-profit organizations.
Previously an advisory private client investment manager at BWD Rensburg (now Rensburg Sheppards plc). Then went on to manage discretionary private client portfolios with HSBC Investment Management. A Member of the Securities Institute.
Ian Morley was the founding Chairman of The Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA). He is Chairman of Corazon Capital, a hedge fund of funds marketing and sales company. He was formerly Head of Derivatives and Quantitative Fund Management at AIB Govett, Managing Director of Rudolf Wolff Fund Management, and European Director of Managed Futures at Lehman Brothers. He works closely with a number of trade and regulatory organisations and has advised the Bank of England, the Central Bank of Ireland, the OECD, the EU and other international institutions about the managed derivatives and Hedge Fund industry. An economics graduate of the LSE, Ian has published numerous articles, including Morley’s Laws of Fund Management, and has lectured throughout the world on derivatives and alternative Investments.
Alan graduated from Cambridge University with a double first in Economics in 1970. During his 30 year career in financial markets and international industry he has been a stockbroker and partner at Simon and Coates, Chief Economist for Royal Dutch Shell, Investment Director for Lazards and Deputy to the Chief Executive and overall Head of Discretionary and Advisory Investment Management of UBS Private Banking in London.
Alan is currently the independent adviser to Dorset County Council pension fund and chairs the Investment Committee of Hays Group plc pension fund where he is a trustee. He is also an independent trustee of the ICL Fujitsu pension fund. Outside the world of pension funds, he is the Senior Investment Director of the JP Morgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust and sits on the Client Board of ING Real Estate Asset Management.
Jonathan began his career in 1981 on the business section of The Times newspaper. He then joined Ogilvy & Mather to specialise in investor relations, and in 1986 established an Independent Financial Advisory firm. In 1993 he joined the Committee of the European Federation of Financial Analysts (EFFAS) for its Edinburgh conference, and was a founding member of the Centre for the Study of Financial Innovation (CSFI) Advisory Council. was a pioneer in rating companies and funds on their environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG/SRI) performance and developed a reputational risk-assessment methodology to measure financial and non-financial performance.
As a senior investment adviser, Jonathan's clients include charities, group pension schemes and private clients. He also undertakes fund research and assessment of 'impact' investing for Allenbridge and was a member of the Strategic Alpha Fund investment committee prior to the sale of the retail division to Close Asset Management.
